This Privacy Policy explains how FTC Brakes Corp. (“FTC”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit this website (ftcbrakes.com and ftcbrakes.com/ar), contact us through it or follow links from it. We respect your privacy and aim to collect only what we need.
1. Who we are
FTC Brake System is a brand of FTC Brakes Corp. (“FTC”, “we”, “us”), which supplies brake pads, shoes, linings, discs, drums and master cylinders. Our office is at 403, Mona Residence, Amman Street, Al Qusais Industrial Area 5, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question, write to info@faroussi.com.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, subject and message, and anything else you choose to include, such as vehicle details or your company name.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our web server automatically records your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you and the date and time of your visit. We use this to keep the site secure and working well.
- Cookies and browser storage. See section 4.
We do not ask for payment details on this website. Purchases are made in our online store (see section 5), which has its own privacy policy. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data.
3. How and why we use information
- To answer your enquiries, distribution and export requests and warranty claims, which means taking the steps you ask us to take.
- To run, secure and improve the website and to prevent spam and abuse, which are our legitimate interests.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions or advertising profiles. We will only send you marketing messages if you have asked for them.

5. Third-party services and links
- Google Fonts. The site loads its fonts from Google's servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.
- Web hosting and email. Our hosting provider stores the website's data, and emails you send us pass through our email systems.
- Online store. The “Shop online” and “Find your part” buttons take you to store.faroussi.com, which is run separately. Its own privacy policy applies there.
- Social media. Our Facebook link takes you to Facebook, which has its own privacy policy. We do not embed social media trackers on this site.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the website and our business (such as hosting and email providers), with our professional advisers, with our distribution and sales teams where needed to answer your request, and with public authorities where the law requires it. Service providers may use the information only for our purposes.
7. International transfers
FTC operates from the United Arab Emirates and China, and our service providers may be located in other countries. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected in line with applicable data protection law.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up, and as long as legal, tax or warranty rules require. Server logs are kept for a short period for security. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and spam protection, to protect personal information. No online service is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the contact form.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, and subject to applicable law (including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the protection of personal data and, where it applies, the EU GDPR), you may have the right to know what we hold about you and why, to ask us to correct or complete it, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict some uses, to withdraw consent you have given, and to receive a copy of your data.

This website is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
