Brake Master Cylinders
The component that turns your pedal press into braking force.
- 1 year or 70,000 km warranty

Short answer
The brake master cylinder converts pedal force into hydraulic pressure and sends brake fluid to every wheel. FTC supplies master cylinders to complete the braking system.
What a master cylinder does
When you press the brake pedal, a piston inside the master cylinder pushes brake fluid through the lines to the calipers or wheel cylinders. Its reservoir keeps the system topped up as pads and shoes wear.
A healthy master cylinder gives a firm, consistent pedal. A soft or sinking pedal is a reason to have the hydraulic system inspected.
